Do I need to be on a 3GA program to complete Fellowship?

THIS WEEK’S QUESTION…?

Do I need to be on a 3GA program to complete Fellowship?

At this point in time, only those who are seeking to complete Fellowship with Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) are required to be on a Fellowship program to be eligible for their Fellowship.

In 2022, changes are happening which will mean that all General Practitioners will need to be on a Fellowship program to complete either.

It’s important to remember that permanent residents and Australian citizens who are non-VR must also be on a program to access Medicare benefits.

If you’re not going to be a fully Fellowed GP before 2022, you will need to look at what Fellowship pathway will be best for you.
