MEDICARE

Public Holidays –

With the upcoming public holidays, please be aware that Medicare will be closed on the 19th of April, 22nd of April and 25th of April. FLU SEASON

In Queensland alone 6,500 people have already been diagnosed with the flu, so be prepared for more patients coming in with the flu. PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE COVER

Natural Therapies –

Natural Therapies could be reinstated in private health insurance cover early next year as the government is reviewing the changes they announced. TELEMEDICINE

In British Columbia, Canada they have released new telemedicine technology for patient consultations to occur over the phone.
