RACGP

2022 Changes For Non-Vocationally Registered GP’s –

It will soon be compulsory for all doctors to have completed an accredited RACGP GP training/support program to be eligible to sit the RACGP Fellowship exams from January 2022.

 

The RACGP recommends applying for the 2020 intakes of the Practice Experience Program (PEP) to gain access to an RACGP Fellowship Program provider number and allow access to the full A1 Medicare rebate.

 

Applications for the PEP 2020 open 19th August and will close 13th September.

AUSTRALIAN COMMISSION ON SAFETY AND QUALITY IN HEALTHCARE (ACSQH)

Revised Edition of The Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights Released –

The Charter describes the rights that consumers, or someone they care for, can expect when receiving health care.

 

These rights apply to all people in all places where health care is provided in Australia. This includes public and private hospitals, day procedure services, general practice and other community health services.

ACRRM

Last REST Course in WA for the year –

ACRRM Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST) course will be in Perth on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October. This two-day course covers many of the common emergencies in rural practice and is the last in WA for the year.
