RACGP

PEP Specialist Stream Now Launched-

As of the 1st September RACGP has launched their new Practice Experience Program (PEP) Specialist Stream to replace the Specialist Recognition Program (SRP).

 

The program is a 3GA workforce program that provides structured education and peer support for specialist international medical graduates (SIMGs) with a specialist general practice qualification, working towards Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP).

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH – PBS

New PBS Medicine Listings-

The Australian Government will invest $27 million to provide affordable access to three new medicine listings through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

 

As of 1st September listings for the following medicines have been extended or amended:

  • Opdivo® (nivolumab)
  • Botox® (botulinum toxin type A)
  • Bicillin L-A® (benzatheine benzylpenicillin)
