Coronavirus at a glance –
COVID extensions for AMDS –
To support doctors during this time, the Department of Health is automatically extending placements expiring after May 1, expiring deeds, and ongoing program requirements for General Practice Experience Assessments and Advanced Life Support Certification for 6 months.
OSCE Update –
RACGP has announced that they will not be running another OSCE in 2020 and enrolments will remain closed for the foreseeable future. For those currently enrolled, your enrollment has been recorded and will be transferred to the transitional assessment.
AKT/KFP Update –
Enrolments for AKT & KFP are now open!. If you’ve already enrolled then you’re set and just wait on updates from RACGP!
ACRRM Assessment –
Enrolments for assessments in Semester 2 are currently open. They close on the 26 of June 2020.
Online OET –
OET has partnered with Prometric to create an online OET. No changes to the actual test, or the cost and paper based testing will continue to be available once the pandemic is over. Not 100% approved by AHPRA yet, but they’re working on it.
