PHARMACY BOARD OF AUSTRALIA

The Registration Clock is Ticking. 

Pharmacists who have not renewed their registration before 30 November, must renew their registration in the late renewal period and have until 31 December to apply.  Anyone who does not renew their registration before this date will have lapsed registration and will be removed from the national register and be unable to practise in Australia.

AHPRA Moves to Douse Mandatory Reporting Fears- RACGP Yet to be Convinced

New laws surrounding mandatory reporting are set to come into effect around Australia (minus WA) early next year, raising the threshold of mandatory reporting for impairment, intoxication or breach of professional standards.

Updated MBS Fee Summary: What GPs Need to Know

Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) fee summary is now available on the RACGP website. Key changes include- amended rebates; the addition of new items; re-ordering of categories, additional and updated links.

Revised Registration Standards Take Effect 1 December 2019

Revised standards for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice, Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Occupational Therapy and Psychology Boards come into effect on 1 December 2019, replacing existing standards.
